Hi, I’m Rachel, and I’ve been leading Edge Housing since 2015. I’m deeply passionate about supporting those battling addiction, and equally about encouraging churches to become the kind of family so many people are longing for. I long to see the church move beyond its “Sunday best” and embrace being a messy, authentic, and truly loving community.

Hi I’m Laura Bird, I have been a member of ISAAC for many years, as a representative of a Residential Rehabilitation Centre in Devon, and now as an individual member and Genesis Process counsellor .

I have been working with and supporting people who suffer from addiction issues over the past 30 years and I also have personal experience, as a member of my family is affected by addiction.

I have been privileged to see and be involved in witnessing many people break free from the imprisonment of addictive behaviour, but also experienced the heartache when some don’t make it. I have found the relationships and friendships I have enjoyed through the ISAAC network has offered me incredible support and inspiration.”

Group Host: Dettie Wallington (Loughborough)

Dettie runs a Christian housing project called Exaireo which includes a rehab for men. She has been involved with ISAAC for any years.
