Faith in Research

When & Where?
Every first Wednesday of the month from 12:00-13:00 o clock, via Zoom. The
webinars will begin in October.

Why ‘Faith in Research: Conversations about Empirical Evidence”

No, we’re not replacing faith in God! Faith in Research is about bringing together
Christians who research around addiction with those involved in addiction ministry.

Our hope is to create a space where research, practice, faith and lived experience can come together – sparking thoughtful conversations, sharing useful insights, and giving us all some food for thought.

Who is it for?
Faith in Research is primarily for UK ISAAC members and their guests. If you know
someone who would find a session interesting or helpful, please do invite them
along. There will be a separate sign-up for each session.

Meeting Info:

  • Join us online over lunch. Bring your lunch, grab a coffee, and make
    yourself comfortable!
  • Sessions will not be recorded. Where possible, key points, presentation
slides and suggested further reading will be made available after the session.
  • We want this to be a respectful space for conversation. Different
perspectives are welcome, but we ask everyone to keep contributions
    courteous, constructive and concise.
  • Each speaker will present for 30 minutes, followed by 45 minutes for
    questions, comments and discussion.
  • Each session will be moderated by a member of the Faith in
    Research team.
  • We’d love to hear your ideas. If there is a topic you would like us to explore,
    please get in touch.

Core Team:
