ISAAC Mentoring: Pilot project launched
We are delighted to share that the ISAAC Mentoring pilot project is now live. We are trialing the concept of matching Christian peers who are working in the field of addictions/recovery as Mentors and Mentees in the UK. Over the next 12 months each pair will aim to meet at least once a month. Our Mentors come from a range of backgrounds but have a common passion to pass on what they have learned and invest in someone who is younger than them in the field. They have been trained in Active Listening Skills and Principles of Mentoring.
Similarly, our Mentees come from a variety of personal backgrounds and work situations. However they all share a common interest in investing in their personal growth and development. We are excited to see so many members in the UK making use of this exciting opportunity.
If you would like to find out more about why we are running this project and how it works, please take a look at our website. We plan to re-open applications for a wider audience later this year for the 2022 intake.
